Late Models, Street Stocks
Dink's Notebook
With
the weather as it was the track stayed heavy all night, I even think it
caught several teams off guard!
Trey
Robb in his Sprint heat drove like a very seasoned veteran at the ripe
age of 13, winning his heat race and finishing 2nd in the feature.
The
smile on Michael Lang's face was just too awesome as he won his first
ever Sprint feature in his first year of racing.
Rick
McCommas fought a long hard battle to victory lane in the Modified
Feature
coming from the back to the front even not feeling so well, nice
job man.
It
was great to have Darren Ellis back in victory lane, always a gracious
winner.
Jason
Trevathan, what a class act! He wins his Street Stock heat, and
then the trophy dash and tells Grand Ma she earned the trophy during his
interview and to come on down and get it but happily carried it to her
up in the stands. Then he goes on and completes the night with
the Feature win for a clean sweep!
In
our interview in Victory Lane Jason thanked his sponsors as well as his
Grand Ma, a fine finish to a great night by a classy young man.
